ITV Drama Festival 2023

Event visuals package

The annual ITV Studios Drama Festival was held on the main cinema screen of London - the Leicester Square ODEON, as always greeting a few hundred content buyers from around the world and taking them through this year’s TV and film offering from ITV.

Over two months leading up to the event, together with Zealot we developed an ambitious concept and graphics package to guide the audience through the 2-hour long event.

The event featured 11 sections, including opening and closing, presenting 9 pieces of original content across different genres, cultures and locations. To highlight the breadth and variety of the content presented and serve as a visual pallete cleanser between the presentations while also tying the whole event together under a unified look and concept, I built a virtual city - the Drama Town. It contains different districts corresponding to the different types of content presented, allowing us to literally take the viewer on a journey from one show to another.

This all was built in Unreal Engine 5 by mixing, matching and modifying assets from KitBash3D and the UE Marketplace, allowing to single-handedly create the whole city and render 9 minutes long gfx package in under a couple of months.
